The Tucson Heat 8th grade and HS JV teams both took 2nd place in their respective divisions of the Inspire Hoopalooza in Gilbert, AZ.     The HS JV team started off strong with a 2-0 record in pool play and a great comeback win to make the championship game.   The lost to a very good Firestorm team out of Phoenix in the final, but not without almost making a comeback in the end.   Our 8th grade followed this up with a 2nd place of their own by defeating Team M’Phasis for a championship rematch against Jump Athletic.    The 8th grade team fought had, but in the end could not pull out a win against the only undefeated team in their age division

We as a coaching staff could not be prouder of the way our guys fought and the teamwork they displayed this weekend.   What a great way to kickoff the Summer season
